Use Quick Pages For Faster Scrapbooking

by Jennifer Wilson

Digital scrapbooking transforms what can be a messy, expensive, time-consuming hobby into a streamlined, portable craft. One type of inexpensive digital product known as “quick pages” makes even simpler work of memory keeping.

Quick pages are pre-made scrapbook layouts all ready for a photo. Usually these come in a .PNG file format to preserve the transparency of the spot(s) for your photo(s). Combining your photo with a quick page is achieved easily with software like Photoshop Elements or even the free program GIMP.

Much of the time, quick pages will be sold as sets of 4 or more. These allow you to create several themed pages of a single event or an entire album of a large time period or milestone. Here are a couple of product picks from across the digital scrapbook industry, reflecting the breadth of design styles and themes available.

While quick pages eliminate a degree of creativity, you retain the process of pairing photos with artistic elements and your own writing. You can even add additional embellishments to the page if you desire to do so.

These digital tools are just one go-to item in your arsenal of organized, simple scrapbooking. Use quick pages when you need to scrap multiple pages quickly and move on to making more memories!
