Picture My Memories: Chocolate From Above

Chocolate From Above

I am a lover of chocolate and every once in a while Hubby will attach a note to chocolate and hide it for me to find later. These are some of the notes he has written. One day I flipped down the sun visor in my van and M&M’s fell in my lap. A good day for me is when chocolate falls from the sky!

This is my first official entry for Picture My Memories. I chose to share these notes to show you that no memory is too small. They are merely a few scraps of paper that normally reside on my bulletin board. Yet, a memory I cherish. I live in an area that has a “tornado season” I have seen where one house will not be affected and the neighbor’s house be demolished. I can tell you that these scraps of paper would not be at the forefront of my mind during an emergency yet I want the memory to be preserved. If I ever downsized my home I might get rid of little things like this but I still want to share the memory. One day I want to be able to show my daughter her dad’s “corny” cute side.

So what memories do you want to preserve? Take a picture and share your post by linking up below!

By the way honey I find nothing corny about this, I love it! I know I will probably pay dearly for sharing this with the world. Oh, and, uh, I am fresh out of chocolate, just in case you were wondering. :)

I love this meme! If I can get myself together today, I will post. If not, then I will definitely have it for next week. I love sharing memories!

What a sweet thing for your hubbie to do, I’d want to remember those little love notes forever too. I’m a chocolate girl also but I must admit I’ve never had any fall from the sky unfortunately :(

I love the entire idea of this meme! I just commented on OrgJunkie that I’m going to try to get my dear packrat son to part with some things in exchange for a photo of them.

I love the idea of finding little treats, esp chocolate from heaven!

That is a wonderful idea! My oldest is all for taking pictures and getting rid of stuff and my youngest son is a little more hesitant.

I saw a home once where they could have filled a room with all of the trophies the homeowner’s children had earned over the years. Then the kids left home and she was left with the trophies! I suggested the next time the kids came home to have them pick out the one’s they might want to keep and take a picture of the rest. We are proud of all of our children’s accomplishments but when you can fill a whole room with these memorabilia you have to ask yourself when enough is enough! :)

Love this idea, it’s so important yet we tend to put it off. I wish chocolate would drop from the sky in my life too, I usually have to just buy it myself. :)
