Organizing Idea File

Featured idea of the week…

Angie from Many Little Blessings shares how she organized her preschoolers toys with open containers and picture labels! Oh, I see a couple of toys we own, why do preschooler’s toys have to be so bulky! Always an organizing challenge. :)

I have been thinking about doing some kind of family calendar and notice board for the kids. I love Leigh’s family calendar and it was a very inexpensive DIY idea. Using a frame with plexiglass, foam board and scrapbook stickers she created space for a calendar, to do list, notes and a family bible verse. – Impresss Your Kids

With three kids wanting our individual attention we try to make sure each child gets “private time” with mom or dad, whether it is just a trip to the store or a date night with one of us. Heather created a Date Idea Box filled with ideas that her kids can choose from to spend special time with their dad. I love that it takes the guess work out of what to do and they can just enjoy their time together. – The Creative Homemaker

Ever get a collection of socks missing their mates? Here’s a great way to coral single socks until the match shows up. – Somewhat Simple

I am always looking for creative storage ideas. We have several shelving units that Hubby built for storing our bins but I had never thought about slide out bins! PK created this tutorial for her under-mount slide out storage bins. – Room Remix
