Please join me at the A Woman Inspired online conference…

Nurturing Creativity & Efficient Living

January 25-29th.

From the site:

If only life was simpler: dinner ready on time.; freshly laundered clothes in everyone closet; every item has a place; money saving was easy and effective; time management was second nature to us. Hmmm… if only, right?

Well, we can ‘t change your home overnight but we can provide you with the tools to begin the process and motivate you to get started. We’ll have sessions on organization, money saving and management, easy meals, effective scheduling, overcome procrastination and more! This is one conference you can’t afford to miss!

And I will be speaking! I am so excited to be joining this great list of speakers. Do you feel like some days you spend more time worrying about getting things done than actually doing them? Tuesday January 26th I will be sharing how you can…

Become A Household WARRIOR Not Worrier

I will walk you through some of the factors in our lives that causes us to worry and feel overwhelmed when managing our households. Based on biblical principles, I will provide you with practical advice you can implement in your life to take the control back and become a household warrior!

Registration is just $12.95 for this thought and action provoking conference.

I also have 5 tickets to GIVEAWAY!

To win a ticket all you have to do is leave a comment.

Entries are open until Midnight CST on Friday, January 8th.

What causes you overwhelm and worry in your household? (Answer this question and you are entered twice!)

I would love to win a ticket! My biggest worry is just trying to find a balance between keeping my house in some state of order and spending enough time with my 18 month old twins! It’s hard and I am in need of some great tips! Thanks for the offer!

My biggest worry is usually clutter. I am trying right now to get rid of everything that isn’t necessary or doesn’t have a place, but it is very difficult to accomplish. Thanks for the giveaway!

My biggest worry at home is paying our monthly household bills. My husband is a self-employeed landscape contractor and in recent years, due to the economy, business has declined. Each month I have to play an enie-meanie-minie-mo game on which bills get paid first and which I HAVE TO allow to go past due. It’s extremely difficult. My lack of money managment skills does not help matters either!

The biggest thing that causes me to worry (AND be overwhelmed!) is clutter! Oh how I hate clutter! I worry that someone will stop by for a visit unexpectedly and see all the clutter if I don’t take care of it right away! It get’s very overwhelming if it piles up!!

Most common worry is whether I’m prioritizing tasks correctly…full-time work, time with children at home, time with husband, faith, time alone, etc. Hard if not impossible to fit it all in. Prioritization is key. Just worry if I get it right.

This sounds like a conference I am in need of :) My kitchen countertop drives me nuts! I have tried baskets of different sizes, in-and-out trays but nothing seems to keep the junk from piling up on there. Help!!

My biggest worry is the amount of paperwork that comes in to my home and never seems to leave. It takes on a life of it’s own and my small piles turn into bigger ones – before you know it, yikes!!

I would LOVE to win this! So many of the women who’s blogs I already read!! My biggest worry right now is how to keep my grocery budget down with my MAJOR picky eaters! It’s lower than it’s ever been and we don’t eat out at all, but I still worry way too much because money is sooo low right now. When I really think about it and get advice from my husband I know I’m doing the best that I can right now. I’m just not putting my faith in HIM for his provision and instead I worry. :(
Thanks for the opportunity!

I would love to win.

My biggest worry is managing work, home & kids. I have a global job, so I’m required to be on my computer almost all day. My parents always put work first so we rarely had family vacations, actvities or events. I want to make sure that my children understand they are #1 and that I find time to do all of the other things that make the house run…

What a wonderful opportunity! AAAACCCCKKKK! I am frazzled!

I homeschool our 6 year old twins. I am having the hardest time managing time. We have school until noon but before that is breakfast, which tends to give us a late start, then after is lunch. I am always a day late with the house work. Evenings are spent running to kid’s events, whether it’s dance or boy scouts or soccer. B/c one of the twins has allergy problems all food is from scratch – no mixes or boxes or jars of anything. So lots of time dedicated to prep work.

So my house is a wreck all.the.time! Can this conference find extra hours for me? Can it help me organize my time? I can’t imagine what my hubs would think if he came home and I was put together and the house was put together…

This would be great. Especially as now my husband is the househusband and I’m the full-time working mom. But I’m also the organized one and I would love to set up a great household workflow that he could easily do too and we could be on the same page. Then our kids and the household “chores” won’t overtake him and our house!

I get overwhelmed and frustrated with picking up trash, dirty socks and other random bits that my teenagers can’t seem to put away. Who throws trash on the floor? C’mon!

My biggest worry currently is how to balance mom and household responsibilities so things that need to get done get done, but my kids also get my attention too. I feel like at the end of the day neither is done as well as I’d like.

Ooohh, I would love to win!

The number one cause of worry and stress in my house is the constant mound of paperwork. We joke that we have a ghost because it always seems that the most important items get misplaced (thrown away?). This is definitely an area that needs improvement!
