That&#039;s a great idea for a future post!  Some of my bed preparation for next year involves using those leaves, grass clippings and other compost to amend the soil.  I use raised beds for most of my vegetables to control the soil quality but raising tomatoes and many summer vegetables can sap many nutrients from even the richest soils so amending helps.  Speaking of amending, if you have an acquaintance who owns horses make them your best friend!</description>
