Messy Playroom

This is what our playroom had become over the summer. What good is a playroom if the kids won’t play in there? They drag the toys out and play with them everywhere else in the house.

I try to be diligent enough to have the kids put the toys away but it doesn’t always happen. They blame each other on the mess and I can’t tell who did what because it’s all coming from the same place. The 8 year old ends up helping the younger two clean up and it’s not fair to him because he doesn’t make the mess.

I walk through the house and put all of the little toys I find in a laundry basket and return them to the playroom then there they sit. I’m fed up. So how did we tackle this little problem?

Stay tuned to find out…

This is a topic I had planned on blogging about in the near future. I’m anxious to see what you’ve come up with!
