I’m taking our family on a journey to see how paperless we really can become. This topic can stir up quite a bit of commotion so I want to make my opinion clear right off the bat. I don’t believe it is possible to become completely paperless. Any of you who have kids can probably give a big Amen to that! They come home with a huge array of papers all the time. I believe that one day it may be possible but I sincerely hope not entirely. I love it when my kids bring home artwork they have created and painted on paper themselves. I myself still love pen and ink depending on my mood and there is nothing like getting a handwritten letter in the mail.
Right now we all have some type of paper coming into our lives, important documents, receipts, business cards, mail, school papers and the list goes on. It’s easy to let this paper take over and exhaust our efforts of keeping up with everything. You may have some questions as well about what to keep, what to toss, how long to keep, and how to stop the junk from coming in.
My goal during this series is NOT to help you become paperless but to help you become PAPER LESS by providing you with ideas and methods to cut back on the paper you have and are using on a day to day basis. I hope to guide you in the direction of paper less living and I encourage you to leave comments with any questions or ideas you may have of your own.
I will work on this series throughout the month and as I finish each topic I will link to it here so you may want to bookmark this post for handy reference.
