Meredith at Like Merchant Ships bought this not so fabulous Craigslist painting and she got a great deal. (can’t imagine why) :)

She let her daughter have a go at it….

and now she has a priceless piece of art.

I love this idea because I’m always looking for interesting pieces of art and of course the frames and the art can cost tons. Some of my favorite pieces of art though are my kids, so why not incorporate the two. It’s easy to pass up the blah paintings but now you can see what potential they really have!
