The handle opening for these baskets do seem to provide enough ventilation however, if it were completely closed off I probably wouldn&#039;t store them this way. Something to consider for those wanting to hide routers! I check them periodically to make sure they don&#039;t seem too hot.</description>

Though, I would caution folks to remember that always-on electronic devices (gaming systems, DSL/Cable modems, wireless routers, etc) sometimes can get very warm and placing them in a sealed basket without a lot of ventilation could be considered a fire hazard.</description>
