A few months ago Jim Deitzel from Rubbermaid offered up a few sets of the Rubbermaid Premier Food Storage Containers to the first couple of people that replied to him on Twitter.

I jumped at the chance to get a new set of containers, because ours are looking pretty rough. Hubby uses them daily and the Glad containers we own have probably been used one too many times.

So, the Premier Food Storage Containers have been tested daily for about 3 months and I only have good things to say. First of all they stack beautifully. You can stack them several different ways and they still look neat and orderly.

You can stack the lids together and then the containers on top.

You can stack them by size.

If you have the space you don’t have to stack them all, just keep the lid and container together and spread them out.

Oh, and if you really have a problem with losing the lids, don’t worry you can snap it right on the bottom and it won’t go anywhere.

The containers wash beautifully, no grime or stains left behind. Shake em’ up, they don’t leak. Best of all, no smells mixing together in the refrigerator. I tested it out with onions and not an odor seeped through. They are microwave, dishwasher and freezer safe. The only complaint form Hubby was that the larger sizes will not fit in his lunch cooler. (The smaller portions are better for him anyways.) :)

We like them so much we will probably buy another set to add to the collection. A definite two thumbs up for this product!

Thanks for the great review. We were just talking the other day about how there were so many ways to organize / stack the premier product. This post did a great job of explaining many of the options. Hope you continue to enjoy them for a long while. Just a note: our Produce Saver containers also have the same stacking features and work in partnership with the Premier containers.
