The Ultimate RV

by Tanna Clark

I always joke with my husband that we should retire in an Airstream. When the kids are all grown up I would love to downsize to the bare minimum. I don’t know, perhaps a loft in the city would be more our style though. Then again with an RV you have a back yard that goes on for miles, literally.

I came across this post at Apartment Therapy about a modified garbage truck turned RV. Now this is cool. After a little looking around I found out it’s not actually a garbage truck but it sure does turn heads. There is a company called Unicat that makes these custom all terrain vehicles. Here are a few pictures of the Unimog

From the looks of it you can do some serious off-roading in this thing and live pretty comfortably while doing so. And just look how neat and organized that kitchen is!

My husband and I want to retire in an RV too. We have 8 kids – we figure if each kid will give us just 10% of their income we’ll be set! lol. I love the looks of that RV! I’m passing it on too!

That’s great! Oddly enough my husband was talking about RVs last night. He has a chance for a killer promotion in a year that would mean he would be traveling 350 days out of the year. He thought why not get an RV and you guys come with me.

I’ll have to pass on the info on those cool RVs.
