Laura the “Junkie” showed us her new big girl office today and asked where others blog so here, I’ll show you mine. :)
This is my desk and my daughter. She is currently sitting next to me recreating a picasso tearing the paper off of the crayons. See that box under my desk? It is for magazine recycling. I would usually have a stack to take downstairs every so often so I decided to put a box closer by so the magazines would have a place to go until the big trip to the recycling center would happen. Also when I am done with a page I tore out it goes in there.
This is hubby’s desk and the dinosaur. The computer is 8 years old and is in need of help or disposal. It is pretty much used for internet access and email. We had to strip everything else off. We were going to put a large clock over his desk but didn’t get that far before we put the house on the market. We are putting a halt to any decorating projects for the time being.
These are the bookshelves that we bought at an unfinished furniture store and hubby painted and the kids art area that I talked about here and here.

This futon used to be in the playroom until we put a table in there and now it is in the office. It is going to my mother’s this weekend. She set up a room for the kids there and it would be nice to use this instead of the air mattress. I’m going to put the kid’s art easel here instead so they can easily access both sides of it.
Our office is 400 square feet. Large to say the least and I love it! The next house (if ours ever sells) won’t have a large office but I don’t really need all of this space but it sure is nice to have.
Thanks Laura for showing us yours, now you have seen mine!

I know this is an older post, but I am working on organizing my office right now, and I have been searching for those black file holders mounted on your wall and I can only find black plastic ones. If you could point me in the right direction as to where you got yours, I’d appreciate it! :)
Wow so much space, those bookshelves are amazing!
I also love those black racks you have hanging on the wall above your desk. Where did you get them? I have room for something like that right beside my desk.
What a wonderful space you have! Mine is in my living room, but that works for us. You can peek at mine here: http://scrivnerburg.blogspot.com/search?q=desk.
Have a wonderful weekend!
I LOVE your blogging space! I need to rethink our office and possibly make room for my son to have an art space. That is a great idea! Your is beautiful and very well put together. Thanks for sharing.
