Since I’m giving away an InstaHanger for the Bloggy Giveaway I thought I would take this opportunity to show you our laundry room.
Here she is, measuring in at aproximately 10 feet by 6 feet. We have the front loading Duet washer and dryer (love them!), a couple of rows of hooks for coats, a shoe rack, two cabinets, a rolling laundry hamper, the ever so handy QuickCloset, and my husband made a counter top for me to go over the washer and dryer for all of my folding. Our keys are hanging on their spiffy little key rack too but you can’t see those in the picture. The space is quite efficient for us. Not my dream room but I will share that vision another day.
Right now on our hooks we have swimming floats, goggles, and our shopping bags hanging about. In the winter time it is heavy with coats and backpacks. I love when spring comes around and I get to clear out all of those coats.
Here is my QuickCloset, the larger version of the InstaHanger. My husband had to attach the unit to a couple of pieces of wood for extra durability. Because, yes I had so much hanging on it, it came crashing down before. But now I could probably hang a kid off of there and it wouldn’t budge.
The laundry hamper tucks right underneath the counter. We usually use this one to hold kitchen towels and gross clothes that come in after the kids have been rolling around in the dirt.
Now I must add a little disclaimer here. My laundry room does not always look like this. I have my days too. In my defense though, I never have clothes waiting to be folded piled up on the couch. I always fold and hang laundry in the laundry room and when I get the chance and don’t have kids climbing all over me, I put it all away.
Coming up tomorrow I will share a laundry room set up that my husband and I helped a client with. I think it is an ideal setup for a small room, but you will have to wait and see. :)
If you have any laundry questions feel free to ask, I will share some tips later in the week.

What a neat setup you have! I love the washer, dryer, and laundry hamper under the folding table. I should have my husband put a cupboard in above my folding table…hmmm…
