I have made them out of old levis for my girls and I sewed the labels that came off their jeans here and there. I used the crazy quilt method to make these. I tied the quilts with no batting between as they are heavy enough and are meant to be used as picnic quilts.<br/> I put pockets from the Levis on each quilt in fun ways and in one pocket I always put a bandanna.<br/> I also sewed on appliqués that were specific to each girl. My one daughter had attended 3 different universities so I had a patch from each school. Sports they were in I had appliqués for those. I have made 5 denim quilts.
