Blue Angels

by Tanna Clark

in Family Life

It was cold, wet and extremely windy today but we made it out to see the Blue Angels fly at The Great Tennessee Air Show. My son loves anything military related and would like to enlist one day. He is undecided whether it will be Army or Navy. He is only 7 so I think he has plenty of time to decide. He was able to sit in a couple of helicopters and check out some jeeps and he was quite impressed.

As we watched the “Angels” in flight today I thought of all of the service men and women who risk their lives every day for our country. Thank you for your sacrifices and dedication.

For he will command his angels
concerning you
to guard you in all your ways.

Psalm 91:11

We drive past the local Naval Air Station often on our errand running expeditions. There is a full scale Blue angel model at the gate. My 3-year-old son just loves it! Aren’t they amazing in flight!
