Closet In Kitchen

by Tanna Clark

February’s issue of Domino brightened up my mailbox this week with one of my favorite topics on the front cover… the Organized home! This is one of those times when I just love getting mail.

Right on the inside cover is the perfect ad from Citi card. I couldn’t help but laugh. It would be so fun to organize a space like this. I say forget cooking. The ad says:

“I don’t cook. So I made my eat-in kitchen a fabulous walk-in
closet. My name is Grace and I live in a small apartment in a big city. And
since I enjoy shopping far more than, say, cooking, I decided to do a bit of
home remodeling. So with my Citi card in hand, I set out to get some closet
organizers. I bought a shoe rack for the oven, sweater boxes for the lower
cupboards and some 12-inch baskets for handbags up above. I saved room for
plates, glasses and silverware. And one large drawer stuffed with take-out
menus.”

Mandy, Good luck with the organizing, if you ever hit any roadblocks I’m here to help. I think Tanna is a pretty nice name too. It’s grown on me. Thank you!

Hollene, I am so glad you received the magazine. I hope you enjoy it!

Thank you for stopping by…I love your site! I really have great intentions for organizing my home this year. With your great ideas, it just may happen! I love your name…if/when we ever have a girl, we are naming her Tanna! It was my great aunt’s name.
