We also buy try to find an ornament from where ever we vacationed that year. This year is an apple from NYC. <br/><br/>The plan is when the kids leave home, they will take their ornaments with them. My oldest is 14 so that's not too many more years. My Mom asks me every year if I mind having the tree covered with kid ornaments. I love it. When the both leave home, we'll have plenty of time to do an adult tree. <br/><br/>www.clutterpundit.com My Mom buys my kids an ornament every year. We even talked about doing two trees, one for the grown ups and one for the kids. Once we downsize though we won't be able to do that. Maybe we will alternate years. <br/><br/>Now it seems as though our tree is only decorated on the top half. My oldest is 10 so you can only imagine what my tree looks like now...I call it the Hallmark tree..lol.<br/><br/>I still need to get one for my 8 year old this year.
